To make your Promise Tree, you’ll need:
25 natural wood slices (available from Bunnings, craft stores, or online)
Acrylic paints and a few brushes
Twine or ribbon to hang your ornaments
Clear spray varnish or acrylic sealer to protect them for years to come
A small tree branch in a vase, or tabletop tree to display them
 
Each day, after reading the devotion, you’ll paint that day’s symbol — a rainbow, crown, star, manger, and more — then hang it on your Jesse Tree. By the end, your branch will bloom with 25 hand-painted ornaments telling the story of Jesus from Genesis to Bethlehem.
